BayView State School is situated on the eastern edge of Redlands City, south east of Brisbane. BayView State School is a purpose built government primary school, which has been established through the first Public - Private Partnership, between the Queensland Government and Aspire Schools. The school has experienced steady enrolment growth since opening in January 2010.
